President John Dramani Mahama has wooed President of Czech Republic H.E Petr Pavel and his business delegation to take advantage of Ghana’s business conducive atmosphere and strike deals with Ghanaian Entrepreneurs.
According to the President, 62 years of strong relationship and cooperation that exist between the two countries makes it plausible and easier for the Private sector of Czech Republic to do business with their Ghanaian counterparts.
President Mahama made the call at a Dinner organized in honour of H.E Petr Pavel and his delegation at the Flag staff House on Tuesday.
“We welcome the private sector of Czech to take advantage of Ghana’s conducive business atmosphere”, President Mahama said.
President Mahama later expressed his appreciation to his counterpart saying “you are the first Head of state to visit me since I assumed office”.
“This a testament of the strong relations that exist between the two countries for the past 62 years”, he added.
He said Ghana will forever be grateful to the Czech Republic for their support to the country including building clinics and ongoing construction of 50 bridges to improve on accessibility as part of government’s infrastructural development .
He added that Ghana’s support from Czech Republic is in the area of education, security among others.
The President Mahama also emphasized that he has briefed the Czech President about government’s flagship 24hour Economy which he said would help create more jobs for the youth.
“This policy has been strategically designed to create jobs for the youth”, he indicated.
On his part, H.E Petr Pavel expressed his appreciation to Ghana for “your hospitality which is exceptional”.
He said the reception goes to further deepen the relationship between the two countries which he said is based on cooperation and trust.
The Czech Republican President assured government of his country’s commitment to support Ghana whilst prevailing on his delegation to do business with the Ghanaian private sector.
