Broadcaster Gideon Aryeequaye has been appointed by President Mahama as Executive Secretary of Arts Agency.
A statement issued by the Agency stated in part:
It is with great pleasure that we announce Gideon Aryeequaye as the Ag Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency, Ghana towards executing the Black Star Experience agenda to reset the Culture, Art and Tourism sector.
Gideon Aryeequaye was a principal character in building the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) as Deputy CEO and then went ahead to do a beautiful work to transform Ghana Tourism Authority during the last regime of John Dramani Mahama.
At this moment when issues of Creative Arts is of much more interest to the President, Gideon Aryeequaye comes again with his God-given leadership skills to help reset.
